The National Youth Council of Malawi is pleased to announce the official commencement of the funds disbursement for the Youth Innovation Fund (YIF), following the successful completion of regional capacity-building trainings for grantees.
The disbursement schedule will begin today the 20th August 2025 in Mchinji and proceed across several districts to ensure that all successful Tier 2 and Tier 3 grantees conveniently receive their support
This direct financial injection is designed to empower young innovators to operationalize and scale their ventures in agriculture, tourism, mining, and manufacturing—key sectors central to the government’s ATM+M agenda.
Launched under the visionary leadership of His Excellency, The President of the Republic of Malawi, Dr Lazarus Chakwera , the Fund reflects the Malawi Government’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, positioning young people as key drivers of economic growth and innovation in realizing Malawi Vision 2063.
